The following privacy policy applies to all site visits, transactions and agreements with Daywize. We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and/or employees of our clients (or employees of the clients of our partners). We ensure that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. You can read below on which personal data we collect and for what purposes.

Personal data and what we use it for

We process personal data about you because you use our website or express interest in our services or are already a customer. You can think of:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Gender
  • Date of birth / Place of birth
  • Phone number / email address
  • LinkedIn address
  • Location details
  • Data about your activities on our website
  • Data about your surfing behavior
  • IP address, internet browser and device type

Or other personal data that you actively provide for example by creating a profile on our website, in correspondence and by telephone. We use this information for the following purposes:

Daywize also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Confidentiality & disclosure to third parties

We handle your personal data confidentially. The personal data we collect through our website will not be provided to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provide to other parties unless you have given your prior consent, or this is necessary for the performance of the agreement or we are permitted or required to do so by law.

How long we keep data

Daywize will not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are collected.

Applications

How does Daywize handle your personal data when submitting a job application?

When there is a vacancy, you can apply for this position. When submitting an application, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions. Daywize Cloud handles your data and documents as follows:

If your status with one of our job postings is changed (Status ‘accepted, rejected or withdrawn’), we retain the data for 14 days before it is anonymized.
At the time you agree to a longer retention period, this is 28 days.

In some cases, Daywize may be happy to include your profile in its portfolio.
The following applies to that:

At the time your profile receives the status “In Portfolio” (Instead of accepted, rejected or withdrawn), your data will be anonymized after 182 days.
At the time you agree to a longer retention period, this is 365 days.

Security

Daywize takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at info@daywize.nl.

Mapping website traffic

Daywize uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are we_use_cookies_icon_500pxnecessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. They also allow us to optimize our website. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for inspection, correction or deletion to info@daywize.nl. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID along with the request. In this copy we ask you to black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Daywize will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

If we process personal data because your employer is a customer

On behalf of your employer

We may also process personal data about you because your employer has provided it to us or to one of our partners. We use various measures to ensure your privacy as an employee and to protect your personal data. Our processing of personal data complies with Dutch and European privacy laws and guidelines. The General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) is the basis for our information security policy. The AVG considers Daywize a ‘processor’, because our services are aimed at processing personal, salary and related data for your employer who, as a client, is considered a ‘processing controller’ in the law.

In concrete terms, this means that if you feel that more data about you is being processed than you deem necessary and/or data is not properly secured and/or there are indications of misuse, you should contact your employer first. According to the law, this person is primarily responsible. We will only process data on the instructions of your employer.

Depending on the services purchased by your employer, we may process the following types of personal data:

  • Name, address and residence information
  • Citizen Service Number
  • Contact information such as phone numbers and email addresses
  • Copies of identification documents
  • Access or identification data
  • Bank account no. and financial data
  • Appointment/contract details
  • Training details
  • Occupancy and formation data
  • Compensation, benefit and/or pension data and movements
  • Leave data
  • Absence data
  • Performance data
  • Outflow mutations / exit dates

Requirements from the AVG

The AVG imposes requirements on the form and content of agreements between clients and suppliers. In addition, this law also imposes a number of obligations and restrictions on Daywize as a processor. Based on the AVG, we ensure that:

  • we and our suppliers obviously abide by the law.
  • the processing of personal data takes place only on the basis of written instructions from our clients (as elaborated in the service agreement) or the law.
  • the provision of data to third parties arises from law or the purpose of processing and is made with the specific consent of the client.
  • there are sufficient safeguards with respect to technical and organizational security.
  • data entrusted to us are kept confidential.
  • Your employer, as a data controller, can comply with the data breach notification requirement.
  • when developing software, the “privacy by design” and “privacy by default” principles are used.
  • binding processor agreements are made with processors (your employer) and sub-processors (our suppliers).
